  • 7 days 5 nights @ Japan

This time is not a back pack

Everything is a rush but we managed to cover 7 prefectures out of 47 prefectures of Japan.

    Day 2

    Tokyo Disneyland

Without him, there will be no mickey mouse and no disneyland, he is the famous Walt Disney. During his young age, he dropped out from high school and joined the army.

Unfortunately, due to his young age, he was only given the duty to drive ambulance. He is frustrated and started drawing cartoons. The first cartoon he drew is not the Mickey Mouse but is the "Oswald the Lucky Rabbit".
Possibly due to his young age and lack of experience, he failed to obtain his rights to Oswald. It is the Universal, not Disney who owned the Oswald trademark.

Right after that, he is more frustrated and started drawing again, then he produced "Miskey Mouse" and received the first academy award.
    Full story covered in <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walt_Disney#1901.E2.80.931937:_The_beginnings>

    Attraction

    Parade

    At "It's a small World"

Japanese lining up to take photo

A closer look at "sleeping beauty" castle..

    At Haunting Mansion

    Disneyland must try popcorn !

Other than that, we have ride "Pirates of the Caribbean", "jungle Cruise", "Western River Railroad", "Pooh's Hunny Hunt"... but no cameras allowed

    Day 3

    Tokyo Imperial Palace

It is the main residence of Emperor of Japan. As usual, I don't like listening histories so I din't listen much when the tour guide is talking. He talked about how Tokyo city is formed because Tokyo is not the first city, and something related with World War II. However, when I google it, I dont understand what google is talking. Haihz..><

    Asakusa Kannon Temple

It is Tokyo's largest Buddhist temple and a major attraction for Japanese and foreigners alike. I like it here because we get to pray. They believe that the more smoke you sweep towards your body, the more healthy you are. -.-'

      Smoke @ @

    Ginza

Ginza is a big shopping area where all branded, expensive and exclusively designed products are sold here. Due to the fact that I only buy cheap stuff, I bought NOTHING here .. T_T

    Toyota City Showcase

We purposely come here not only to see cars, but to see the Toyota Fine-X (Fuel cell car). It is eco-friendly but expensive. Fuel cell energy is produced from the chemical reaction between Hydrogen and Oxygen. It emits water, not the smelly polluting dangerous gas which we are inhaling each day.

    Toyota Fine-X

    Shinjuku City

I was very excited at first when was told that I could go Shinjuku.I remembered it is the place where Jacky Chan film the movie "Shinjuku". However, to my disappointment, I was not given a chance to walk along the night street but to go up the tower to see the overview of the city only. It is now the major commercial and administrative centre.
A detail structure of Shinjuku can be read from the following websites:-
    <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shinjuku,_Tokyo>

    Sashimi Dinner

    Jiraogonno Fuji No Yakata Hotel

A special hotel where it provides hot bath. Everyone has to wear their provided Yukata to enter the hot bath area, nobody is allowed to wear any pieces of clothes when enjoying the hot bath. Well, I dont wana go naked in front of other, so my family did not go to the hot bath with others. T_T

      At hot bath entrance

    Day 4

    Mount Fuji 1st Station

Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan with heights 3776Km. It is formed from the four phases of volcanic activity. The larva created five lakes. According to our tour guide, this volcano is still active and will probably explode anytime within this yr and next yr.

    More details in <http://en.allexperts.com/e/m/mo/mount_fuji.htm>

There are a total of 5 station in Mount Fuji, of course, the 5th station is the only station where you can enjoy the most scenery of Mount Fuji. Unfortunately, it snows on that day we went up Mount Fuji. So, our bus is only allowed to drive till 1st station. T_T

However, fortunately, we are able to see the snows and touch it. Well, I have not seen any snow before in my life. The snow is just like frost from Peiling's Sis fridge in PV10. Kenyang and I always defrost it every month.

    Hakone Piece Park

This park has a white tower where there is the Buddha’s relics inside. It is because the buddha's relics comes from Japan. Well, again, I din't listen much when the tour guide talk about religion and historical stuff. ><..That's all I know ><

Japanese New year thing to put in their house

    Owakudani Volcanic Area
    .
Owakudani is the area around a crater created during the last eruption of Mount Hakone some 3000 years ago. Today, much of the area is an active volcanic zone where sulfurous fumes, hot springs and hot rivers can be experienced.
    More detail in <http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e5203.html>

I had some breathing difficulties when climbing up to the volcanic zone because of the sulfurous fumes and too cold whether. However, we have fun eating the black eggs.

    Sulphur is black?

    Smelly Sulphur

    People cooking eggs

Hot sulfuric water where they cook egg here ^^

    Lake Ashi

As mentioned earlier, Lake Ashi is one of the 5 larva lakes formed as a result of the eruption of volcano. At this lake, we ride big boat to enjoy the scenery nearby Mount Fuji.

    Day 5

    Kyoto Kiyomizu Temple

This temple is special such that it is build without a nail.

Additionally, Kyoto is the place where we can find the tradition of Japanese people. The government of Japan has restricted Kyoto to build any building more than 65 meters heights. During world war II, the American choose not to attack Kyoto with nuclear bomb because it is the only place where all Japanese tradition can be found here.

Kyoto used to be the capital of Japan before Toyko. There is a story in Kyoto which it teaches us that 天上有天, 一山还有一山高。

    Walking up to the temple

In the history, only "Guan Gong" can carry this heavy metal weapon, everyone is trying to carry but it is just too heavy !!!

    Temple built without nail

People taking water from the mountain believing this water can help health, wealth and love.

    A closer look

Geisha at the street leading up to Kyoto temple

    Kimono Fashion Show

Yukata is made from Silk or Cotton, people wear ir during Summer. On the other hand, Kimono is made from Silk, people wear it in Winter. Due to it is winter, therefore i watched Kimono fashion show.

    my favourite

    Taoisme Temple

no statue to pray..and clap to pray

    Kyoto Shinkansen Ride (Bullet Train)

When I take this train, I realised how much our contry is backdated T_T

Bullet train, it can go as fast as 600++km/h, but Japan only allows it to go up to 275km/h due to too dangerous if too fast. What ashame for our contry is, this train has existed in Japan since 1964, Singapore has developed too, but Malaysia ?? T_T

What's more, in Japan, or in other western countries, their buses and train are always PUNCTUAL !! How about in Malaysia?? T_T There are people who are late for work due to the late trains T_T

Not only that, you think KL Sentral is cool? Japan Kyoto station is the coolest. Kyoto Station is the most important transportation hub in Kyoto, Japan. It has Japan's second-largest train station building (after Nagoya Station) and is one of the country's largest buildings, incorporating a shopping mall, hotel, movie theater, Isetan department store, and several local government facilities under one 15-story roof. I am very amazed by the Isetan department store design, it has 11 floors !! omg

Left and Right are doors entrance to Isetan, middle is a stage !! cool

Sky Bridge connecting two sides of building

There are 12 cabins, we are so unlucky that we entered cabin numbered 3, the Smoking Cabin T_T...There, I have to tahan 18 minis of smoke T_T

    Shinsaibashi Shopping

Whoo...After taking the train from Kyoto to Osaka, we are heading Shinsaibashi in Osaka !! Shopping Heaven !!

Osaka is famous for its business, people from Osaka are clever business people. It is the biggest industrial city.

The tour guide gave us 2 hours to shop, my heaven !!

    Happy in shopping

The stuff here is slightly more expensive than in KL, but it's considered reasonable if compared to Ginza, the high class shopping street ><

We bought lots stuff..including a 18SX magazine, Alice Nine CD, Face Scrub RM 60, Mcdonald Pork Burger with Teriyakki Sauce RM 3.8, Mascara RM 40, Nail Clipper made in Japan, etc etc

    Day 6

    Osaka Universal Studio

Universal studio originate from US, where it is the real scene where people take shots for movie such as JAWS, Jurassic Park, Water World, and Backdraft.

I had lots lots fun here because my dream at young age is to become a film director but now not anymore .. haha...

The next universal studio will be in Singapore by next year. However, it was supposed to be in Johor, Malaysia at first. I have no idea what happened inside the people dealing with it till they loose such a big project T_T.

My favourite ride there are Spiderman, Backdraft, Water world show, JAWS.

    Water World Scene

So Crowded !! The Japanese has no where to go, so crowded, i hate lining up ! @ @

    My Fav Scene

    Spider Man Scene

    Enjoying

    Love this scenery

Thx to all those Japanese who have no where to go, all are crowded in Universal Studio, when I have 60 mins left but have to wait for 90 mins queue, I failed to watch Shrek 4D show T_T

    Food

    What's nice?? My Ranking

    1) Green Tea Cake - Taste like Taufu Cream

    2) Yogurt - taste like cheesy Tau Fu Fa

    3) BBQ is nice, served with Terriyaki Sauce

    4) Set Lunch

    5) Shabu shabu is normal, we can find better steamboat in Malaysia

    6) Their Western Breakfast is too boring T_T

    Japanese People

    1) At Escalator, all people stand on the left unless they intend to move faster.
Sad case in Malaysia, Malaysians are not trained to stand on the left.

The most "kek sim" thing is some Malaysian slow drivers drive on the right lane T_T..

    2) In the toilet, people line out before the first toilet room in a lane.
Sad Case in Malaysia, we are not trained to line up in a lane.

    3) Japanese people take up your things either return to you or hand it to the "Lost and Found"
Sad case in Malaysia, there are so many snatch theft here. However, we are not worst than China.

    4) Japanese working adult do not leave the office until the boss left
Sad case in Malaysia, many working adults waiting to punch card before 5pm. However, we are not worst than western countries.

    5) Japanese people toilet are always clean and dry
Sad case in Malaysia, our toilet are mostly wet and smelly.

We should learn the good from other people..所 謂 : 学习别人的长处, 自我提升

  • Students with CGPA above 3.5 = Average students

This morning, we went for consultation regarding on how to answer test paper. Unexpectedly, we have been "boomed" by her. We feel so hurt and therefore I'm blogging.

A teacher/tutor plays an important role to cultivate interest among the students toward the subject but she failed to do so. A teacher should not discriminate the students and saying that "you are average la, so u get average marks". Then she added on:" if a person is NOT of average, he/she should have gotten high marks for all the subjects, do you?"

So I answered:"ya, we used to get high marks for almost all subjects, we just want to know our mistakes in this subject"

She answered:" U shud be humble, u shudnt b egoistic, I am not allowed to dispose the marks, but I'm acting good to let u know ur marks and spend my time with you...You should not ask for higher marks"

I answered :"We did not want higher marks, but we want to know our mistakes so that we can improve"

She keeps talking irrelevant to my quote above.  She later asked for our names so that she want to review our paper again and said that she did not guarantee if there is a drop of marks.

OK, thats fine...at least I learn something that is not to 顶嘴 with the teachers.
    So, to conclude:

    Her mistake
    1) She should not misunderstand us that we want higher marks, instead, she should understand that we are there to know our mistakes

    2) She should not threatened us by asking our names and say that she will definitely make our marks lower than before if she were to mark again.

    3) She should not discriminate the students until the students had lost interest in that subject.

    My mistake
    1) I should not say that "i have written alot of things but still get low marks", this may let her think that she has marked wrongly and it's all her fault.

    2) I should never say that I have got high marks usually but get low marks for her subject, this lead her to think that she is a lousy teacher.

    3) During the consultation, we should not keep asking about the past papers, instead, we should look forward. If we keep looking at the past, she sure think that we think she is lousy in marking our paper.

In conclusion, teachers do not like students to think that they mark wrongly in the test, students do not like teachers to discriminate them.

Put this in a family situation, do you like your parents to discriminate you just because you are not smart enough?

If you are parents, do you like your children to think that you are not a good father/mother.

Thank you for reading. Good Day

  • im 22, wishing to grow from 158cm to 168cm!!!

Whew..it has been 3 months since my last blog..I have been very busy with my sem break work and of cz UTAR (University Tak Ada Rehat)

Well...sometimes i tink im wasting time, i make myself so busy studying but my bank account amount still the same -.-''' That's the Cons of a person who want to study actuarial science

Ok..going into the topic...I have a bf, he is 180cm, i admire his height but he complained my height! oh Gosh !
So, for him, im gona work harder to make myself GROW TALLER ! It sounds impossible since I'm 22. -.-''

I'll give myself time frame from now till september (the time till he'll come back fr germany)

    1) Diet - fruits and vegetables, dairy, cereals, meat, and plenty of water will aid the natural process for enhancing height. hmm...why not just take a multivite a day...

    2) Enough sleep -
Getting proper sleep is vital for the growth hormones to perform its function effectively. Not getting enough sleep can lower the amount of growth hormones your body produces.

    3) Strecthing exercise -
Some stretching exercises can help increase the height enhancing process during puberty. After puberty the stretching exercises can still help correct a person’s posture

    Basic Leg Stretch Exercise

    4) Fashion - Dark color, not heavy neck line...

There r still some ways suggested in the internet but i tink it has risk, such as comsuming growth hormone and limb lenghtening,...

    ok thats all...

    Records (Date : 26/1/09 - 158cm)
